Here's what you can expect from our daily activities:

  • Limited screen time: We want our campers to disconnect from the world and be present with their adventures. But we also understand wanting to document their experiences, and having contact with home. Limited Screen Time means only the essentials - talking with family and taking pictures of unforgettable memories. Anything outside of that will not be allowed.

  • Workshops & Classes: Days at camp are filled with excitement as campers dive into the exciting world hula hooping of circus arts. These unique classes inspire creativity, build self-confidence, and will serve as the foundation for student performances at our circus showcase!

  • Swimming: Campers have the chance to cool off and enjoy a refreshing swim at our sparkling pool under the supervision of our certified lifeguards.

  • Hiking Adventures: The breathtaking Santa Fe mountains are our playground. Campers embark on guided hikes to explore nature trails and learn about local wildlife. These outdoor adventures instill a love and appreciation for nature and encourage a sense stewardship of the land.

  • Rest Period: After an action-packed morning, campers enjoy a well-deserved rest period, where they can relax and unwind. We believe in balancing high energy activities with quiet moments to reflect and recharge for the rest of the day!

  • Chores and Team Building: We believe in teaching responsibility and teamwork. Campers participate in daily chores like making their beds and tidying their cabins. These activities promote cooperation, instill a sense of pride in their surroundings and encourage campers to build important life skills that are essential to thriving at camp and at home!

  • Evening Entertainment: Our evenings are filled with delightful entertainment, from campfire stories, s’mores and movie nights to our very own Sleepaway Circus Showcase! These gatherings allow campers to showcase their talents, build friendships, and create unforgettable memories.

  • Lights Out: We understand the importance of a good night's sleep for our campers. Campers will have a period of time to unwind from the day in their cabin followed by a strict lights out time, ensuring your campers wake up refreshed and ready for another day of fun and learning.

Here's what you can expect from our group meals:

  • Family-style dining: Group meals are a cornerstone of camp as the Sleepaway Circus! Beyond the delicious food, mealtime is a time for campers to connect. Our outdoor dining area overlooks the mountains for an unforgettable mealtime experience filled with laughter and joy!

  • Nutritionally Balanced Meals: We believe in the importance of providing nutritious meals that fuel your child's adventures. Our menus are thoughtfully designed to include a balance of proteins, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

  • Allergen Awareness & Dietary Restrictions: Our kitchen staff is trained to handle allergies with the utmost care, and we maintain strict protocols. Meals will be designed to accommodate a wide variety of dietary needs to ensure each camper has meals that are not only safe but also delicious!
