Refund Policy:

Although we hope that each and every kiddo LOVES their hoop experience with Mad About Hoops, we understand that sometimes it might not be a good fit for one reason or another.

  • In the event that the school is handling enrollments, Mad About Hoops will adhere to the school's specific refund policy.

  • In the event that registration is handled directly through Mad About Hoops, please be aware of the following refund policy:

    • Students may withdrawal from class for 100% refund minus a $25.00 administration fee after the first class.

    • Once the second class has taken place, no refunds are given if a student choses to withdraw for any reason.

    • If a student is removed from class for not upholding our classroom code of conduct, no refunds are given.

Cancellation Policy:

Although our goal is to avoid cancelling classes if at all possible, in extreme circumstanses, it may be unavoidable.  Should a Mad About Hoops class absolutely have to be cancelled, please note the following:

MAD ABOUT HOOPS CANCELLATIONS:

  • In the event that an instructor is unavailable due to illness or another emergency, we will first try to find a substitute instructor. If a sub is not available, the class will have to be cancelled and the time will be made up by scheduling a make-up day or adding time each week to make it up.

  • If for any reason we aren't able make up the time, refunds will be given for the missed class.

ACTS OF GOD CANCELLATIONS:

  • In the event that a class is cancelled due to 'Acts of God' (Flooding, Storms, Snow Days, etc. that make travel or holding classes unsafe) we will do our best to schedule make up time/days for the class(s) missed.

  • If for any reason we aren't able to make up the time, no refunds will be given.

SCHOOL / SCHOOL DISTRICT MANDATED CANCELLATIONS:

  • In the event that a class is cancelled due to the school or district mandating the cancellation for any reason, we will do our best to schedule make up time/days for the class(s) missed.

  • If for any reason we aren't able to make up the time, no refunds will be given.

STUDENT ABSENCE(S):

  • If an enrolled student is unable to attend a scheduled class(s) for any reason, including but not limited to illness and/or quarantine, no refunds will be given and the guardian is still responsible for payments/outstanding balances on the missed class(s) if any are due.

Classroom code of conduct:

At Mad About Hoops, we strive to create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all students. To maintain this atmosphere, we have established a Code of Conduct that all participants must follow. Students are expected to:

  • Respect their fellow students, instructors, and equipment at all times.

  • Refrain from behaviors that disrupt or interrupt the class, such as excessive talking, not following instructions, or engaging in unsafe actions.

  • Take care of the provided hula hoops and other equipment, using them only as instructed.

  • Treat everyone with kindness and respect, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Students who consistently fail to adhere to the Code of Conduct, or who engage in extreme misconduct, may be removed from the program without refund. It is very rare that a student is removed from the Mad About Hoops program. In most cases, verbal/written warnings with parent communication proceed removing students from class. However, in extreme cases in which the classroom becomes unsafe, students may be removed immediately without warning or refund. Our goal is to ensure every child has a great experience, and these guidelines help us achieve that. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
